Paragon Software Systems is taking the lead in providing transport optimisation software for companies operating in China.
Paragon’s new Simplified Chinese language option makes it much easier for planning teams in China to take advantage of Paragon’s advanced transport optimisation software. The company will also soon be in a position to provide accurate road data and a full street level map of China with the appointment of a new mapping partner.
Paragon transport optimisation software is Unicode compliant, which makes it possible to translate it into any language and enables its use anywhere in the world. This includes languages that use special characters such as those in Simplified Chinese, the written language for mainland China.
“Several of our larger retail and 3PL clients have asked us about using Paragon in China. The logistics market in particular offers a massive potential opportunity for the 3PLs and it’s up to us to make Paragon software available to help them create realistic transport solutions and share their logistics expertise with their Chinese customers,” says Charles Nockold, Marketing & Business Development Director, Paragon Software Systems.
Paragon transport optimisation software is already available in a range of language options, including American English, French, German, Spanish, Hungarian and Croatian. These built-in options allow the user to select the language of their choice within the Paragon Workbench. This is particularly useful in centrally deployed software environments where it is possible for different users to access a single Paragon software installation concurrently in their own language.
