We’re excited to announce that eight Paragon cycling enthusiasts are taking part in Velo South in September to raise much-needed funds for an amazing local children’s charity called Shooting Star Chase.
Team Paragon is made up of 8 keen cyclists – 7 Dorking-based riders and a Paragon colleague from our Hull office. Velo South is a 100 mile closed-road cycle event starting from the Goodwood Estate and riding out into the beautiful West Sussex countryside, taking in the South Downs National Park before a grandstand finish back at the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
There’s no doubt it will be a challenging ride, especially as many of the team have not cycled this distance before. Training started in earnest with a session at Goodwood recently where 4 members of the team also took the opportunity for a photo shoot with ex-England rugby star Martin Johnson!
We want to wish Team Paragon all the best with their 100 mile cycle…and most importantly their fundraising. They are aiming to raise a significant amount for Shooting Star Chase which is a children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
