Paragon Software Systems, leaders in vehicle routing and scheduling technology, is pleased to announce that William Salter has taken over the role of Managing Director from the recently retired Dr David Holmes.
William has been with Paragon for over 15 years and has played a major part in the company’s success within the routing and scheduling software market. Most recently as Sales Director, a position held for five years, William has been involved in numerous client implementations and has worked with the rest of the Paragon leadership team to help steer the company to its position as the UK’s market leader and supplier of choice for many leading blue chip companies.
As Managing Director, William will reinforce the company’s commitment to continued software development and excellent support, which has seen an increase in Paragon implementations to over 1,200 systems in 23 countries worldwide, as well as additional new capabilities such as Multi User and Real Time planning software.
Dr David Holmes, Managing Director for 11 years, has now retired from full time involvement but will remain on the Paragon board as a non-executive Director. “We would all like to thank David for the enormous contribution he has made to Paragon over the years”, comments William Salter. “As Managing Director I will ensure we remain committed to the values that have made Paragon Software Systems the market leaders in vehicle routing and scheduling software.”
