The joint team of Paragon, Isotrak and Sainsbury’s has reached the final stages of the Supply Chain Solution of the Year in the 2010 Retail Systems awards.
Now into their fifth year, the awards recognise excellence and innovation in the field of information technology within the UK retail sector.
“This is a prestigious retail industry award and we are pleased to be shortlisted for the Supply Chain Solution of the Year. The Paragon, Isotrak and Sainsbury’s partnership highlights the success of this unique implementation. The award entry shows how extensive two-way integration between Paragon and Isotrak has improved planning for Sainsbury’s complex multi-shifted operation,” says William Salter, Paragon’s Managing Director.
“The routing system enables Sainsbury’s to rework and optimise plans throughout their execution, cutting costs and improving efficiency in this nationwide operation. The system has increased driver productivity by 8%, improved empty running by 12%, cut store turnaround times by 15% and increased on-time delivery levels by 17%,” he adds.
The awards ceremony takes place on 28th October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
