Paragon Software Systems will showcase its market-leading routing, scheduling and transport optimisation software solutions at Logistics Link South.
The show, taking place at Sandown Park on the 3rd and 4th February, will give the Paragon team the opportunity to demonstrate its latest version, Paragon 5.0; the new Carbon Minimiser function; Route Execution for tracking vehicles against plan; and Paragon HDX for combined home delivery order management and route optimisation. The team will also be available to talk to visitors about how Paragon’s routing software is helping over 400 companies to cut costs and improve transport efficiency across a wide range of industry sectors.
Heading up the Logistics Link South exhibits will be Paragon 5.0, the latest version of the company’s routing software. Paragon 5.0 features a range of new enhancements that build on the software’s proven planning capabilities. New functionality includes entity level scheduling for the effective management of drivers, tractors and trailers and regional rush hour functionality that allows specific road speed profiles to be created.
Paragon will also demonstrate how its recently launched Carbon Minimiser functionality enables customers to reduce carbon emissions. This innovation estimates and reports the total CO2 and fuel content of all the routes and schedules, taking account of distances, speeds, weights and vehicle fuel efficiency. The software is then used to finely adjust schedules to further cut CO2 and fuel figures.
Companies wanting a real-time view of their fleet’s performance will be able to see how the revolutionary Paragon Route Execution system goes a step further than simple vehicle tracking by comparing live fleet activity with planned schedules. This real-time system automatically tracks vehicle activity against the plan using integrated satellite tracking to monitor the progress of individual vehicles as well as the entire fleet. Armed with this information, the transport department can adjust route plans in real time, update customers about delivery arrival times using the automated text messaging feature, and highlight significant deviations from the planned schedules.
Also on show will be Paragon HDX which provides a seamless solution that brings together transport optimisation with multi-channel order and delivery management. This cost-effective solution will enable companies to boost their customer service levels by offering transport-efficient delivery slots at the point of sale, which could be in-store, online or telephone.
