Paragon would like to congratulate Daniel Clifton and Cheyenne Eastwood, who have completed their apprenticeships with our charity partner Streetscape and gone on to find new jobs in the landscape gardening sector. Both were sponsored by Paragon during the 12-month scheme, which is designed to help long-term unemployed 18-25 year olds build the skills, experience and attributes to move into and retain long-term work.
Daniel has secured a coveted position at Randle Siddeley, a leading London-based landscape architecture, construction and maintenance company that designs landscapes and gardens all over the world. This follows the success of former apprentice, Cheyenne Eastwood, who has been accepted onto the prestigious Historic Glasshouse Apprenticeship at Kew Gardens. The three-year, paid placement is highly sought after with a rigorous and competitive recruitment process.
Paragon’s Managing Director William Salter commented: “We are hugely proud that our sponsored apprentices have secured these great roles. Streetscape has given Cheyenne and Daniel the opportunity they needed to develop the skills and attributes required for a career in landscape gardening, an opportunity they have worked hard to make the very best of. We wish them all the best in these roles and their future careers.
The significant achievements of Daniel and Cheyenne demonstrate the importance of organisations like Streetscape. We look forward to supporting the social enterprise further in the future.”
