Showcase latest developments & model clients’ operations
Paragon announces today that the company has opened a new Technology Center at its Head Office in Dorking in the UK. Designed to showcase the latest developments in Paragon’s routing and scheduling optimization software, the facility – the first of its kind in this sector – provides a high tech environment where all Paragon customers across the globe can model their operations to help optimize savings at every step of the delivery journey.
The Paragon Technology Center is split into different zones designed for demonstrations, testing, one-to-one training and business reviews. Tracking and telematics software, as well as Paragon’s electronic point of delivery software fleXipod, are available to view on a wide range of handheld devices. Whether customers are interested in improving how they use their existing solution, or seeing for real how new Paragon functionality like Arrivals Boards or CANBus data integration works, the Paragon Technology Center will bring this to life.
“We are delighted to be opening the doors on this new customer facility,” said William Salter, CEO, Paragon Software Systems. “With more and more customers wanting to integrate our routing and optimization software with telematics and tracking, we can use the Technology Center to show how everything links up in real time and delivers real-world benefits.”
Paragon continues to invest one-third of its turnover in product development and research. The Technology Center will enable Paragon to show customers how the growing functionality of Paragon software can meet their evolving routing and scheduling requirements, whether it is to enhance their planning process, reduce fuel costs, improve driver utilization to counter the driver shortage, or meet the challenge of home delivery services.
“The Paragon team has a huge knowledge base built up over decades of operating in the transport and logistics industry, and the thing that sets us apart is our ability to share this expertise with our customers,” added Salter. “The investment in this facility demonstrates a continued commitment to our customers. We look forward to welcoming them and our industry partners to the new Technology Center.”
